Beer-portunity

What a week!

We have been all over Southern California this week and been posting constantly on Twitter. I promise we will be posting more on the blog but here is a rundown of the beers that we had this week:

Sam Adams -Cherry Wheat
Sam Adams - Scotch Ale
NewCastle
Stone Pale Ale
Kona Fire Rock Ale
Guinness
Belmont Brewing company's -Golden Ale
Belmont Brewing company's - Strawberry blonde
Dos Exis
Blue Moon

**Make sure that you follow us on twitter because whenever we have one of these we tell you where we are and what we think about it.  Sign up to follow our blog too so you won't miss out on**

Now while most of those are classic beers that really don't need an introduction to most there was one that really stood out.

As summer gets closer and the heat starts to rise its extremely important to stay hydrated, what better way to do that then with a great beer. The Kona Fire Rock was an outstanding beer that begs to be had on a summer day. When it was first brought to the table I thought that I was in for another pale ale with no real taste and even less body. I could not be more wrong, this coppery colored beer had a surprisingly light citrus flavor that was not heavy at all. This beer was very refreshing and was very easy to drink.

We found this beer at the OC Sports Grill  http://www.ocsportsgrill.com/
(on state college just outside Angels Stadium)

Keep your glasses full friends...
